Message Post up a measurement of how far the slave cylinder is moving the fork. It doesn't require a whole lot. My clutch issue drove me crazy. I had bubbles all in the system so I bled it. Even after I finished, it still wouldn't allow me to shift gears with the pedal depressed. The slave was moving far enough after I measured it so I had no idea what was happening. However, measuring it at least told me where to look. Joe Allison called and had me check the flywheel and friction disc. It turns out they were seized together. I had to pry them apart (through the starter hole since I left the tranny up) and my problem was fixed. Like I said, measure how far the fork is moving and you can at least half split the problem.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

WILL JSCHRAUWEN EVER ANSWER MY QUESTION?

John, stop it! You are not allowed in AMS threads and you know it. -- marty1mc

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
